Eunice Au was a journalist in Malaysia and has written on a range of topics, including politics, crime, environment, terrorism and entertainment. From 2011 to 2015, she worked for the New Straits Times and reported extensively on two Malaysian aviation tragedies. During her time there, she also stood in as a state correspondent managing several reporters and news coverage of Selangor state. As a freelance writer, she contributed to The Sun, Malaysian Today and Madam Chair. Her last position before joining GIJN was as a Malaysia correspondent for Singapore’s The Straits Times.
