Fabiola Torres is the director and founder of Salud con lupa (saludconlupa.com), a digital, collaborative journalism platform dedicated to compelling, investigative coverage of public health in Latin America. She is a member of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) and an ICFJ Knight Fellow.
In 2018, she was part of the international team of journalists to produce the award-winning Implant Files, the first reporting project to examine the million-dollar medical device industry. That same year, she was a member of the group of reporters that won a Gabriel García Márquez award for the series Venezuela a la Fuga.
Torres was also the co-founder of the digital site Ojo Público. Her experience includes a decade as a reporter for the newspaper El Comercio (2004-2014).
