Bernadette Carreon is a Palau based journalist writing for several regional and international publication. A journalist for 22 years, Bernadette came to Palau in 2001 to work for the now-defunct Palau Horizon and has since considered this island nation her home.
Bernadette is also a media trainer snd has conducted training on economy , election , disaster preparedness , information integrity and fact checking trainings in Palau . She has also done investgative pieces on fisheries and environment.
Bernadette was born and raised in Manila, where she began her career in journalism in 1999 . She worked for Today and Malaya. Bernadette holds a degree in journalism from the University of Santo Tomas, one of the oldest universities in Asia.
