Jane Lytvynenko is a freelance journalist specializing in disinformation and online investigations. Her work focuses on analyzing the spread of fake news and the rise of hyperpartisanship though online platforms using digital tools. Besides English, she speaks Russian and Ukrainian. She previously reported for BuzzFeed News and her work has also appeared in Maclean’s, CBC News, and Canadaland, where she was a media reporter and editor. She is currently a Fellow at the Shorenstein Centre of the Harvard Kennedy School.
