Luisa García Tellez specializes in investigating how corporate power affects consumers. As data journalism grantee at the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, she co-led the recently published cross-border investigation "Where’s my pension?" on how private companies in nine Latin American countries have invested workers” pension funds in the past ten years. She holds a Master of Science in Accounting from The London School of Economics (LSE).
Luisa is author of “Tell me about your sources” (2017), a book about the relationship between investigative journalists and their sources. Up to now, this book has been used in university classes in Peru, Spain, Mexico, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Colombia, Ecuador, among many.
She was part of the award-winning Swiss Leaks and Panama Papers projects led by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists.
