Naziha Syed Ali is an assistant editor at Dawn, an English-language newspaper in Pakistan. She has been a journalist in Pakistan for more than three decades. Some of the stories she has reported on or investigated deal with religious extremism, enforced disappearances from the insurgency-hit province of Balochistan in Pakistan, organ trafficking and land-grabbing. She also worked in broadcast journalism for some years and produced several documentaries including the Emmy nominated Among The Believers.
