Sue Stephenson is a multiplatform journalist and digital and broadcast news producer. She is Head of the Journalism Program at Macleay College (Sydney and Melbourne) and is a PhD candidate at the University of Sydney. Sue’s first textbook , Journalism Practice and Story First News Production, is due to be released by Routledge in 2022.
Sue was the Foundation Executive Producer of the ABC News Channel and has received multiple awards as a reporter, news producer and journalism educator. She is a proponent of local and regional news, and solutions-based journalism.
